Robert’s articles on France, Turkey, Italy, Hungary and Japan have appeared in The Globe and Mail, The Chicago Tribune, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Post, The Toronto Sun, The Kansas City Star and other respected newspapers. He has published short stories and travel writing in Canadian literary journals such as Queen’s Quarterly.
His current projects include literary and celebrity pilgrimages – to the graves of Jim Morrison and Oscar Wilde in Paris, to the Turkey of the poet Rumi and the Whirling Dervishes, to the Pamplona of Ernest Hemingway and the Italy of Dante. Robert also hopes to invite you soon to join him on Japan’s greatest pilgrimage road, following in the footsteps of the legendary Buddhist monk, Kobo Daishi.
